Who I Am ?
Marzena Isik, Master of Arts – Photographer
I live in the United Kingdom and have been professionally involved in photography for several years, specializing in photographing children.
My work focuses on fine art photography, creating images that resemble paintings, often inspired by seventeenth-century Dutch art.
I favor subtle stylizations that capture the natural essence and individuality of each subject.
I hold a Master of Arts from the University of Zielona Góra.
My artistic sensibilities were further developed during my time at a music school, where I studied drums, xylophone, and guitar.
I also paint and draw, which enriches my photographic work with both technical expertise and a refined sense of beauty.
Each portrait I create is thoughtfully composed, with carefully selected context, background, and styling to reflect the emotions and character of the individual.
I have trained under many renowned photography masters. My portraits are distinctive and recognizable, and I dedicate hours in post-production to perfect every detail using graphic software.
Working with children is a true passion of mine. I know how to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera, allowing their unique personalities to shine through.
My work has received recognition in prestigious competitions, including being named one of the top artists capturing children’s emotions in the sixth edition of the International Photo Awards and ranking among the top 100 photographers in subsequent editions.
My work has also been featured in the Portraits Photo Awards in the UK (2nd place) and awarded an honorary mention in the INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS™ in New York.
My photography has been published in magazines for both children (Prestige Models Magazine, International Kids Magazine, Tinies Magazine, Brand Model Magazine) and adults (Femme Rebelle Magazine). I have also appeared on the Studio Londyn radio program on Wnet.fm, and an interview and showcase of my work are in preparation for the British-Polish quarterly artistic magazine Post Scriptum.
Privately, I am a mother of five (including two cats) and a happily married woman.
